Gepanta 2013 Game 1 vs Later Muslim Indian

First round I faced the only other army in the tournament to have a lot of infantry. The match up was good, I also enjoyed a marked C3 advantage.

As attacker I had a perfect terrain to try my outflanking tactic. The central valley was defended by the corps with fixed obstacles, while the difficlt going avenued on the left was what I needed. The indian deployed on a large gentle hill relying on a flank march

The indian deployment had a major flaw: the CiC IBdF were in three different groups. This paralized the indians on the hill.

After a couple of bounds, the indian had a pip crisis and the IBdF went sponno. The Incas were waiting for them inside the woods

The IBdF advance opened two gaps in the indian defensive line

The situation was very difficult for the indian now: the losses were mounting and the flank march did not arrive

Finally the indian corps entered from the left, where the inca pip dump corps cowered behind the temporary fortifications

The Inca speeded their attack against the enemy center

The Indian center was fragmented and with too many gaps in their line now. The indian tried to gain time to let the flank march deliver its blow

Inca guards were committed to stop the enemy attack.

Soon the Inca superior C3 made the difference, and the indian ILhS suffered hard flanked attacks

The battle finished when the large indian CiC corps broke

The Inca won 25-0. First game ever won using them. I was quite happy, in this game everyting went smoothly: I had a good match up, a perfect terrain, good pip flow and last but not least, took advantage of the enemy impetous charge.
